The anual meeting of the TAFK was held in Fyresdal again. Although the weather could have been better, it was a fun weekend!

Celebrating the new year at Airparc Fyresdal

A wonderful wintertime at Airparc Fyresdal. Some arrived by plane. A lot of guests stayed at the Hotell and enjoyed a great party at New Year's Eve. With live music, champagne and fireworks at the beach, everybody had a great time!

At January 1st 2006, a new tradition was introduced: The New Year's Splash. At 14:00 LT these 'heroes' jumped into the lake to begin 2006 really fresh! Outside temperature was -8 degrees and water temperature was +5,8 degrees Celsius. After that, they enjoyed hot drinks at the fireplace.

Also, at New Year's Day, all the children made their own pizza, together with our chef-cook. Ofcourse, diner that day was: Pizza!

New asphalt

To accomodate the GAP meeting and all the planes that would visit Fyresdal, 2 new run-up area's were created.

April 15th 2005

Eindhoven Airport, Netherlands (EHEH) supports Airparc Fyresdal!

On April 15th, Airparc Fyresdal received a message which surprised us all. The management of Eindhoven Airport, already very supportive towards Airparc Fyresdal from the beginning, replaced their Airport Operations vehicles and decided to donate their former 'Follow Me Car' to Airparc Fyresdal!

Airparc Fyresdal is proud to use the 7 seater as a shuttle between the Flyplass and the Hotell for quests arriving by plane and as an operational car on airside. A special big thanks goes to Bart, Monique, Fons, Pieter and Jos, for arranging it all on such short notice.
